Indulgence

I finally got the urge to shop for cds again. Just earlier, I went to town in search of Ryuichi Sakamoto's BTTB and was dismayed to see that it cost thrice as much as any regular album would. Not willing to leave the store empty-handed, I got something from Edith Piaf and some other world music titles instead haha. I plan to carefully unwrap it, rape her in my cd-rom, then dress her back like it is new. Many birthdays coming soon haha what an asshole.

I also went to a private screening of the so-called cutting edge indie film indigo a couple of days ago. It is a film about loneliness, redemption, and the healing powers and grace of the new generation of indigo (psychic and gifted) children being born into the world. Nothing great about this new genre Spiritual Cinema bullshit, and the casting is really bad not to mention ugly which JY and her mum touched upon too. They said they never thought looks can play such important roles in films; I think it lacks artistic directions thats all.

At the bookstore, as usual, i couldn't find what I want. Nothing interesting, my favorite magazine is now a bi-monthly publication, and so I got Starburst for 35 bucks. Its a fucking magazine with less than a hundred pages. Have to work 13 hours straight later today, that should cover my new magazine and cds. Its bad to be poor like me and having silly little indulgences.

Weird Phonecall

I'd only just been roused out of sleep by a phonecall, and still couldn't think very clearly. My eyes are aching, and various half-formed thoughts were spiraling around in my head. I got 3 long-distance calls on my phone by the same person, I'm fairly certain, without saying a word even when I started to lose my patience. That space of silence was deliberate, a feeling that the line was about to go dead, and when I stopped speaking I heard the faintest trace of a commotion on the other end of the line, something foreign. This is kind of disturbing me I can't go back to bed now.
