Bondi Beach joins smoking ban

Dealing yet another blow to smokers, smoking will be banned on Sydney's famous Bondi beach after Tamarama and Bronte Beaches, making it the first place in the world outside Los Angeles to adopt a beach smoking ban. They are intended not to promote health, but rather to cut the litter of discarded cigarette butts.
